Private, secluded Tent Sites will make you feel like you're in the backcountry while still being close to the amenities of Bar Harbor. An island shuttle service stops at the campground (mid-June through campground closing), making it easy to visit town. This KOA also offers full-service RV Sites, comfy Camping Cabins and Deluxe (linens included) Cabins. The campground is located at the gates of Acadia National Park with all of the hiking, kayaking, mountain biking and other pleasures the park has to offer. After a fun-filled day, relax in the heated pool with the kids. Forget something? Visit the campground's convenience store. Pool: Memorial Weekend - Labor Day Weekend. Max pull thru: 40 feet.
drivingDirection On Mount Desert Island near Acadia National Park. Follow Rt 1A to Ellsworth and Rt 3 toward Bar Harbor on Mount Desert Island. Crossing onto the island, bear right onto Rt 102. Go 1.5 mile, Bar Harbor/Woodlands KOA on left. It is 1.5 miles past Bar Harbor/Oceanside KOA.
